Structural Design
Flange: Generally adopts a circular structure, with a certain thickness and strength, a smooth and flat surface to ensure good contact with pipes or other equipment. It has multiple bolt holes for connection and fixation with other flanges or equipment via bolts.
Clamping Components: Generally composed of a clamp and a sealing ring. The clamp is usually a ring structure, which can be divided into two halves, capable of fitting onto the end of the flange. It achieves clamping connection to the pipe through bolt tightening. The sealing ring is installed at the contact point between the clamp and the flange or pipe, providing a sealing effect to prevent media leakage.
Working Principle
The clamping flange tightly clamps the connection end of the pipe or equipment using the clamp. It achieves pipe system connection and sealing using the friction between the clamp and the pipe, and the sealing effect of the sealing ring. When tightening the bolts on the clamp, the clamp gradually tightens, exerting radial pressure on the pipe, forming a tight sealed connection between the pipe, clamp, and sealing ring, ensuring safe media transport within the pipe and preventing leakage.
Manufacturing Materials
Stainless Steel: Possesses excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and high strength. It can be used for extended periods in various harsh environments, is not easily rusted or corroded, and is suitable for various fields such as chemical engineering, food, pharmaceuticals, and water supply.
Copper Alloy: Has excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. It is relatively soft, easy to process and install, and is often used in situations with high corrosion resistance requirements and good conductivity or thermal conductivity, such as electrical equipment connections and hot water supply systems.
Aluminum Alloy: Lightweight, high strength, good corrosion resistance, and good cost-effectiveness. It has applications in situations with weight requirements, such as aerospace and shipbuilding.
