    Connecting Holes: Multiple connecting holes are evenly distributed on the four sides of the square flange. These holes are used to insert bolts or other fasteners to connect the square flange to other components such as pipes and equipment, enabling the assembly of the piping system.

    Sealing Groove: Some square flanges also have a sealing groove on their surface for installing sealing gaskets or seals, enhancing the sealing of the flange connection and preventing media leakage.

    Metallic Materials

    Carbon Steel: Possesses high strength and hardness, is relatively inexpensive, and can withstand certain pressures and temperatures. Commonly used in general industrial piping systems, such as water supply and heating pipes.

    Stainless Steel: Features excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and high-temperature resistance. It is often used in pipe connections under special conditions such as high pressure, high temperature, and high corrosion.

    Non-Metallic Materials

    Plastics: Such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polypropylene (PP), they have good corrosion resistance, insulation, and sealing properties. They are lightweight and inexpensive, but their strength and high-temperature resistance are relatively poor. They are suitable for some corrosive media transport pipelines, such as chemical laboratory pipelines and sewage treatment pipelines.

    Rubber: Features high elasticity, shock absorption, noise reduction, and good sealing performance. It is often used in conjunction with metal flanges, such as square flange rubber joints, to compensate for pipe displacement, absorb vibration and noise, and is widely used in various piping systems.
